My Cameras
Goodmorning!I can’t thank everyone enough for all the lovely comments on my post about my new sewing machine! I appreciate every single one of them – I really do! I’ve been getting a lot of questions on what kind of camera I use, and I thought I’d take a minute before I run off to work this morning to talk about it….
I have about a thousand cameras (okay, so that an exaggeration, maybe more like 12). Some of them take gorgeous photos and others don’t work at all. It’s hard for me to contain myself when I come across a gorgeous old camera so I’ve become the crazy camera lady with them all littering my room, but I love it.
Most of the photos I take for the blog I take with my Nikon D70s. I emptied my bank account when I was about 14 or 15 and used all the money I was supposed to buy a car with on it (so yes, I have always been crazy!). I mostly just use it’s basic 18-70mm lens but on occasional I use a few others.
My other main shooter is just my point and shoot Canon PowerShot SD790 IS, which is a great one to just throw in my purse and have on me at all times.
I have two polaroids that both still work perfectly, and I still have film squirreled away for, but I only use them for super special occasions:)
The film camera I mainly use is a Nikon N65 which takes lovely photos and I keep telling myself I really should use more.
*yay* for cameras!
I love my new Nikon and thanks for commenting on my post and sharing my excitement!
Thank you for this post, I am buying a camera tomorrow but can’t afford a DSLR yet..I am thinking of buying a Canon too.
