Well yesterday I posted the pictures I took of my sister and, soon-to-be niece, Penny. And today I wanted to show off my latest project I made just for her. A little pair of super-soft leather moccasins! I made them on my 1944 Singer (actually, I was so nervous about messing up, I hand-turned the sewing machine for the whole project!). I’m so excited to see these on her little toesies:)
of course, wrapping gifts is one of my favorite things to do too. And I just felt like these guys needed an equally simple & cute matching box.
I love when projects come out how I imagined 🙂 I can’t wait to see them on her little feets!
i can’t wait either! A little Indian photo shoot is in her future!
OH MY GOSH! those are the most incredibly precious things i have ever seen in my entire life. well done! 🙂
Thanks:-)
Those look great! I’ve been thinking about making an adult pair for myself. Where did you get the leather for it?
Philly has a “fabric row” and one of the stores there had some. they don’t keep it as nice as I’d like, but it was good enough for this little pair!
These are so cute!! Lovely!!
Do you have a pattern for these? My brother recently had a little boy and I would love for him to have a pair of these to go with the knit hat and sweater I’m currently making for him-then he’ll be all set for fall!
I don’t, sorry! 🙁 It was a complete trial-and-error thing for me. I traced a pair of baby shoes and just kind of figured it out based on those measurements!
Thank you for replying ; ) I’m pretty handy when it comes to trial and error I’ll see if I can figure it out this weekend!
If it helps it all it was basically just 3 pieces, the sole, the back & the tounge!
