Nautical prints are one of the most classic summer prints to me. They’re one of the few that have really run through almost all style changes since even back to the 1940s (and even earlier, really). I got this skirt last year and wore it a couple times, but I just realized the other day I haven’t worn it at all this summer. Tsk tsk! It’s such a great casual skirt, and the fun print makes it easy to dress up a plain old tank top.
Those of you who have been around might have noticed I spruced up my blog design over the weekend. It’s still a work in progress, and I have some kinks to work out (always the fun part of doing your own blog design and continually learning as you go!), but I’m quite partial to it. If you have any comments or complaints about it let me know. I’m always trying to improve it for the better, so knowing if something is hard to use, missing, or just plain difficult to understand or look at is a help to me! Sometimes you can miss glaring problems after you’ve been starting at the computer screen a couple hours.

It is nice that you brought this skirt out for a wearing in the summer. I really like your design actually because it is simple and clean and neat! It is beautiful. I think you have improved it just fine!!
This outfit just screams summer. Love the white and blue and the pattern. Your new blog design looks fantastic! I really like the font you used in the header, as well as your “about” tag line. I’m terrible with this stuff, so great job to you for being able to do it by yourself! That is an accomplishment:)
I love the pattern on the skirt!xx
