Maybe it’s from working in retail, but I really hate how everyone seems to be ready to jump right into Christmas craziness as soon as Halloween is done! I don’t mind a little planning (I’ve been doing some planning myself, since I always make parts of my Christmas gifts), but it seems like the craft stores are already completely packed with decorations, and of course Starbucks already has their red cups out. I actually love Thanksgiving – it’s kind of like Fall’s last big hurrah, so I’m for slowing things down and enjoying the moment. I’m all for Starbucks getting some turkey themed cups! wouldn’t that be adorable?
Are you guys ready to dive head first into the holidays or are you still enjoying your fall?
So cute and preppy! I just love the color contrast of the tights and chambray shirt!-Christine
I’m all for enjoying fall, too. Thanksgiving decor was on clearance already in mid October, I couldn’t believe it. Admittedly, it’s hard to make a profit on a holiday centered on thankfulness (which brings contentment) but I love to draw out the fall in spite of the madness around me.
I love drawing out fall, too. I want to take the time to slow down and be thankful rather than charging around 2 months ahead of myself all the time. Though I do love planning ahead for Christmas and started collecting presents a while ago 😛
I’m so ready for Christmas, but I love Thanksgiving as well. I just love this part of the year. 🙂
Yes! As much as I love the Christmas season, fall is so wonderful and I’m trying to slow down and soak in all the lovely scenery and special moments.
I would love Turkey themed cups, even though I don’t drink Starbucks. I love your outfit, so cute!
Firstly, i adore your outfit (those boots!) and secondly, it’s not just you! i hate the literally one day transition from halloween to christmas. so annoying! i wish stores would at least wait a couple weeks, you know? i can imagine working retail it’d be even more annoying though!lovely blog 🙂 glad to have found it!

Mmm, loving those colored tights. I’ve never bought a pair but I have always wanted to try them!I agree about the Christmas rush. Fall is so beautiful and Thanksgiving is something I look forward to all year, why not savor it? I feel like I’m supposed to be blogging about ornaments and holiday wreaths already but I don’t want to. I say we “Let it Fall” not “Let it snow”. 🙂
