Thanksgiving at Home

On the day after Thanksgiving I have to say that I am so thankful for a super relaxed and great Thanksgiving day. I was just happy to get the chance to host this year so I decided I wasn’t going to go insane and drive myself nuts to make everything “perfect”. We don’t have a dishwasher so I decided to go with paper plates and plastic cups and utensils so that I could enjoy the afternoon with everyone instead of worrying about washing dishes, and I am really glad that I did! My mom and sisters and I even got to take my nephew out to see Frozen, which was so darn adorable (and had me wanting a reindeer as a pet!). Holidays have sometimes been kind of crazy for our family, so I am really appreciating our nice calm Thanksgiving this year:)

How was everyone else’s Holidays? Try to take advantage of the nice long weekend and relax a bit!

  1. I went to see Frozen with my little siblings and LOVED it! Probably more than them. ;)Sounds like you had a great Thanksgiving and that hosting went well. Are you planning on hosting Christmas too?
