Let it Snow

On Sunday we got our first real snow! It’s kind of a big deal around here because it almost never snows before Christma, and even if it does it’s usually just a small dusting, but we actually got a nice thick layer to play in! To be totally honest I really haven’t been feeling in the Christmas spirit lately. This whole time of the year has always had it’s ups and downs for my family so sometimes it’s not that easy for me to get really into it. In fact, I hated Christmas for a few years (especially when I worked retail!), but the snow definitely felt like a little gift just to get me in the right spirits – and it definitely worked! I’m kind of hoping we keep getting snow so we can have a white Christmas:)
