Happy snow day! Since the northeast is getting pummeled by blizzard Jonas, I’m experiencing a very rare, and very appreciated, snow day! I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorite snow day outfits! As a lover of basics, these are all outfits you can probably recreate with clothes you already have in your closet. If you’re looking for something to wear for winter I hope these can serve as a little inspiration to change things up and make cold weather dressing more fun!

Rain Boots and Sweaters
Classic and simple. Pair an ivory sweater with distressed denim jeans and a pair of cute rain boots for a casual but pulled together look. Add some warmth with an ovversized parka to keep you cozy and a pom pom beanie for a fun accessory!
Overalls & Stripes
Overalls are the perfect easy outfit for for cold weather. Keep it easy with a classic striped shirt and a beret style beanie. You can add some fun interest with a statement necklace!
Buffalo Plaid and Duck Boots
Layer it up! Mix muted prints and colors together. Classics like stripes and buffalo plaids always work well together. Pull it all together with a classic army style jacket. some cute sweater mittens, duck boots, and as always – a hat!
Fringe Boots & Dresses
My Minnetonka 5 Layer fringe Boots have always been a favorite, and they’re extra great during the winter, keeping my toes toasty! I made sure to coat mine in a weather-proof protective suede spray to keep them from getting destroyed in the snow. I love pairing them back to girly dresses for a fun look!
Thermals, White Jeans and Big Hats
Do people still follow the no-white after labor day rule? Well clearly I don’t, hah! I love a fresh white in the winter, especially in the denim department. Paired with an oversized thermal and an even more oversized hat and you’ve got a winner!
Layers on layers!
What’s better than outfit photos? Seeing how to wear it in real life! Enjoy this short little video me and Weston made a few years back on a picture perfect snow day.
I love the song on the video so much, perfect for the atmosphere :)Haven’t had a good snow day in the UK this year, we’ve had an incredibly mild winter two years in a row now.
