It’s been a long time coming, hasn’t it? We bought our home over three years ago and I haven’t shared much of our renovations so far. Mostly of our time and money up until now has gone to fixing things that are necessary, but not so “pretty”. But here we are, this summer I got some big things done upstairs, and am super excited to finally have some finished spaces to cozy up in!
Before & After…
For the last few years we’ve been mainly just using this room as extra storage, and it sat pretty untouched from the before photos. It definitely felt so good to finally say goodbye to that horrible highlighter yellow color on the walls, and swap it out for something really soft, clean, and bright. We also got rid of the radiator cover and have the old beaut a fresh coat of white paint.
I’m still adding a few more things (is there even such a thing as too many plants??) but I’m so excited to finally have a spot for our friends to be able to stay now that isn’t an air mattress on the floor of a storage room.
Update: See the painted arch accent wall I added to the guest room here!
Pin it for later…
I really love this!!! So very pretty!
