Cozy Christmas Kitchen Decor

For most Holiday seasons in our house I’ve kept things really minimal. When you’re in the midst of renovations the last thing you want to worry about is constantly moving or dusting seasonal decorations. Since we’ve finished renovations on most of the first floor it finally feels like we can go all-in when it comes to decorating for Christmas!

Citrus Christmas Garland

This is my first year successfully making dried orange garlands! I’ve tried and failed in the past, but this year I made sure to leave a ton of extra time to let the oranges dry out fully. They definitely add a vintage hand-made vibe I love! I can just image the Little Women ladies making them for their own house!

Timeless Holiday Decor

I wanted a classic vintage feeling for my Holiday decor. A cozy modern Little Women vibe, if you will! Lots of wood tones, deep greens and brass mixed with whites, pops of orange and dusty pinks.

Thrifted Decor

I recently saw a number about how much seasonal decor is thrown out every year in the US, which inspired me to to try to reuse and thrift as much decor as I could this year. I always see lots of wreaths and garland at the thrift store, so that’s where I headed to get mine! They aren’t as fancy as the new ones I had my eye on, but I rolled up my sleeves and gave them each a little makeover!

You can see my wreath makeover on my Youtube or this quick rundown on my Instagram.

A lot of my other decor was from years past! Some of it is even re-purposed from store displays back in the day when I used to work retail.

While many of the items are old/secondhand here is a few links I can share, including some similar versions if you aren’t ready to DIY 🙂
