Cinnamon roll pumpkin patch 🎃 How do you make Cinnamon roll pumpkin patch 🎃

How do you make a cinnamon roll even better (if that’s even possible)? You double it up and turn it into a mini pumpkin of course 😂

• keep two Cinnamon rolls stacked instead of separating them
• snip off a little extra dough for the stem
• using baking-safe twine, wrap around stacked rolls, twisting when crossing over until you have 8 equal parts. Tie a knot in the center.
• Bake at 350 for about 25 minutes (pull the stems out after 15 to keep them from burning)
• use a blunt edge to create an indent in the center while still warm. Let cool.
• tint your icing with a little bit of red and yellow food coloring until you get the perfect orange!
• pour icing over, pushing out over sides, and add your dough stem into the indent you created

Enjoy! 🧡🎃

catch me thrifting all the napkin holders to use a catch me thrifting all the napkin holders to use as filter holders from here on out🎃

I gave it a quick moody makeover with Behr’s Metallic Oil-Rubber Bronze (which has such a beautiful finish versus a regular flat black paint! I’ve been a bit obsessed with the color lately). I really adore the way it turned out🖤

Thrifted seasonal decor is one of my favorite things to hunt! Sometimes with just a tweak or two it can fit your space perfectly and also feel a little more unique too

‘It’s not a cupcake, it’s a cup-pie’🥧 ‘It’s not a cupcake, it’s a cup-pie’🥧

I’ve been wanting to try my hand at making my own little version of cup-pies since 2007 when I first watched Pushing Daisies. Why it took me this long, I have no idea, but they are officially my new favorite dessert 🧡

Ingredients
+ 2 packages of pie crust
+ 1 Can Apple Pie Filling
+ 1 Can Cherry Pie Filling
+ 1 Egg
+ 1 Tsp Granulated Sugar

Directions
+ Pre-heat your oven to 450° and coat a 6 cupcake pan with non-stick spray.
+ Roll out one of your pie crusts. Using a 4” round cookie cutter cut out 6 bottom crusts. Push each into the cupcake tins, using your fingers to push them into the corners fully, and leaving just a little overlap of the edges
+ Fill each tin about 3/4 full with the filling (filling 3 with the apple filling, and 3 with the cherry filling).
+ Create tops crust using a 3” cookie cutter and top pies
+ refrigerated for at least 10 minutes
+ wish egg and 1 tbsp of water and lightly brush over pies and sprinkle sugar overtop
+ bake for 30~ minutes (cover lightly with tin foil once browned)
+ allow to cool before removing from tins

Happy September!🍂🧡 I had so much fun this we Happy September!🍂🧡 I had so much fun this week working in a little “subtle September” decor into my kitchen (loosely practical magic themed😉)

Back in the day I used to HATE fall, no kidding. It always marked the start of seasonal depression for me so I really resented it. In my mid twenties I finally decided to try to let that go and focus more on what I do like about each season, and it turns out fall is one of my favorites🧡

Decorating my kitchen for autumn has become one of my favorite activities. This year I’m thinking in layers - with this first layer being a little more subtle that I’ll be able to layer more fall decor on top of as the mood strikes.

Don’t feel like you need to rush to decorate. If you’re not ready, forget it! Enjoy the season however makes you happy 🧡
