A Perfect Pair

Old Navy Shirt + Cardigan (both thrifted) // Gap Skirt // Thrifted Belt + Bag // Nine West Boots

                                                          Photos by my brother, Ryan.

Last night my little brother came over for dinner, and afterwards we took a little walk and he snapped some pictures for me. Usually I prefer to take my own photos, but the boy has a good amount of natural talent behind the camera, and I’ve gotten a lot more comfortable with handing over it over to him, plus he seems to genuinely enjoy it. Win, win! Of course, I don’t see it ever being more then a once-in-a-while fun thing for both of us, but it’s still nice to occasionally not have to lug my tripod all over.

This gingham shirt, let me just talk about it for a wee minute. It’s been such a great summer shirt to throw on with shorts and run out the door, and I was so excited when I put it on with this cardigan yesterday and just adored the pair. I think this outfit is one I’ll be wearing regularly this fall, just swapping out with different boots and maybe throwing on some tights or leggings when it really starts to get cold.

  1. Love this look, the color of that cardigan is amazing, perfect for fall. Wish my brother lived closer, he too is pretty good with a camerahttp://www.buttonsandbirdcages.com

  2. You look so gorgeous! I really love your cardigan and that purse is just perfect!xoxo,
