Tea Inspired Drinks + A Mighty Leaf Giveaway!
I am really excited that I get to collaborate with a great company who makes just plain amazing tea. I’ve been a huge fan of Mighty Leaf Teas for years now. I like to buy myself a little box for special occasions or when I need a little something extra special. I had a lot of fun experimenting making a few fun drinks using their tea, and I’m happy to share some recipes and also host a little giveaway too!
Vanilla Tea Whiskey
- 2oz Whiskey
- 1 Vanilla Bean Tea Bag
- 1/2oz Water
- 2 tsp Brown Sugar
- Dash of Cinnamon
- 2 Drops of Vanilla Extract
Steep tea bag in whiskey for one hour. Muddle together water, brown sugar, and vanilla extract. Add whiskey and shake together. Strain into glass with vanilla bean.
Peach Old Fashioned
- Peach quarters
- 1 tsp Sugar
- Dash of Bitters
- 1/2 oz Lime Juice
- 2oz Bourbon
Drop one or two peaches into bottom of glass and top with ice. Muddle together sugar, bitters and lime juice. Add in bourbon and pour over ice in glass.
Tropical Green Tea Spritzer
- 1 Green Tea Tropical Tea Bag
- 3oz Pineapple Juice
- 3oz Cranberry Juice
- Chilled Seltzer
Steep Tea in 1/2 cup of hot water, let cool. Fill glass with ice and add tea, juices and fill to the top with seltzer.
