  1. This is funny. I have exactly the same contact paper on the outside of my laptop as well… which is exactly the same model of laptop. My initial thought was “How did they get pictures of my laptop?”

  2. This is so cool! I love it. I wouldn’t do it at my MacBook Air (although being two years old now, it still looks brand new), but I have a terribly ugly PC laptop that I’m sometimes forced to use (read: for work) and I would love to restyle it like this.

  3. Any chance you know the color wood that (or the one from your other laptop) is? Or the brand of contact paper you used?It looks like honey oak but online photos from stores are very deceptive.

  4. Another Great idea! I can’t tell you how happy I am that I stumbled upon your site! I would love to be able to buy covers for my laptop, but who has the money to spend like that. Thank you so much for sharing another great idea. I am really looking forward to exploring your site and discovering many more wonderful DIY’s!

  5. I am definitely going to try this. The great thing is you can pick up any print of contact paper you want even if it’s not wood grain. Great idea, Thanks.

  6. I love this idea! My laptop cover broke, so I ordered a new one, and turns out the design is not as pretty as I had hoped. Looking for an easy cover up. Just wondering how this has held up over time. Did it ever start peeling up around the edges or anything like that?
